Why doesn't Wallet lock on exit anymore?
Wallet 2.1 includes the ability to run in the background on iOS 4, meaning Wallet can stay unlocked even after switching to another app. You can manually lock Wallet by dragging down the list of groups on the main screen and releasing.

If you want Wallet to lock itself automatically even after it's switched to the background, switch on the Lock When Inactive option in the Wallet Settings.
Wallet hangs when I try to sync or open the Settings.
This is a bug that can sometimes occur after upgrading to Wallet 2.1 on the iPad.

To fix this problem, go into the Settings (Wallet may freeze while doing this, but should unfreeze eventually) and turn off sync. Go back to the main screen, then return to Settings and turn sync back on, re-entering your credentials if necessary. Once finished, Wallet should no longer freeze or hang.
I forgot my password! What can I do?
If you've forgotten your Wallet password, you can easily reset your database from the lock screen. Click the ? button in the top right hand corner of the screen, and tap Forgot? in the resulting dialog to begin the setup process.
How do I access the Settings?
Tap the Edit button on the main screen, then tap the Settings button that appears next to it!
How do I change my password?

First, you'll need to access the Settings screen. Tap the Edit button on the main screen, then tap the Settings button that appears next to it.

Then simply type in your new password in the Password and Verify fields, then tap the back button to save your changes and return to the main screen.

Do you have a Windows app to sync with?

Sorry, only Wallet for Mac can sync with your database on the desktop side. We have no plans for a Windows version.

Can I sync over 3G or EDGE?

Yes! If you're using MobileMe or WebDAV syncing, you can sync any time you're connected to 3G, EDGE, or Wi-Fi.

How do I sync with my Mac using Wi-Fi?

First, open Wallet on your Mac and iPhone or iPod touch, and enter your password on each. Make sure both devices are connected to the same wireless network.

  1. On your Mac, go to the File menu and select Sync with iPhone.
  2. On your iPhone, tap Allow in the dialog that pops up.
  3. Wait for syncing to complete. This may take a minute depending on the size of your database.
