Every feed has a set of articles, each with unique content. Most news feeds provide related text and a photo. If a feed does not provide long article text, Times can also download the full story from that feed's website, depending on the source.
Select a topic below to learn more about articles in detail:
In Times, you can read any article by simply clicking on it. The main page will peel away, allowing you to see the article content.
Click on the peeled down page or hit the key to return to the main page.
Times can download articles and photos from websites that do not provide full content in their feeds.
Sometimes, full articles cannot be downloaded for a number of reasons. If Times attempts to download the full article but fails, you will see the icon next to the feed name. This may only happen with one article, or it could be the case with the entire feed. You may want to try again later, or use a different feed.
If you want to turn off full article downloading for a certain feed, you'll find an option do so when editing that feed.
To request full story support in Times for a specific website, go to the Help menu and select Report Bugs/Feedback and tell us about the feed you'd like to see. Alternatively, contact the site in question and tell them you'd like full content in their feed.
You can easily share an article you've found with others in Times.
